Height or head pump
Head is one of the most important factors in buying a water pump, floor pump, and sludge pump, and it basically represents the lowest point of the pump to the highest possible height for fluid transfer. The pump head can also be affected by the drop caused by the friction of the fluid inside the pipe. The important point is that the maximum water height is given at zero discharge, so it is necessary to choose a sludge remover with a higher height than the calculated height.
Tube diameter
Since the flow rate can be directly related to the diameter of the pipe, it is necessary to pay attention to the diameter of the sludge pump outlet pipe. The flow rate of the sludge remover can be calculated according to the volume of the available fluid and the duration of its discharge. Changing the diameter of the pipe immediately after the outlet of the sludge remover will lead to its damage, that's why it is better to carry out piping up to about 2 meters with the size of the pump outlet and then change its diameter.
Current
The flow rate of the sludge pump is also very important and should be paid attention to.
